Let's talk cake! We are so pleased you're ready to make an initial enquiry. We hope you found some inspiration from our website, social media pages, or perhaps we met at a wedding fair!
Here are our guides to ordering your wedding or celebration cake.

Make an Enquiry
Please fill in our contact form, we can then confirm your date is available and go through your initial design details in order to give you an estimated price. Don't worry if you are unsure on design details, we can go through general pricing for various options and provide you with a guide price. Many couples secure their date before they have finalised a design for their wedding cake.

Save the Date
After the initial enquiry, we invite you to secure your date with a £100 booking fee. This is a non refundable deposit which confirms your date and covers any preliminary work. We work on a first come first served basis and are unable hold dates without a deposit. This payment will be taken off your final balance once the design of your cake is confirmed. It is a great way to secure us as your wedding cake supplier, especially if you don't know exactly what you want yet. If you would like to 'try before you buy' our sample boxes are available for anyone who wants to try our cake before putting down a deposit and are available to order here.

Consultation
For those cakes that require it, we recommend a consultation within a year of your wedding date date to finalise any design details and discuss delivery, as this should allow you to have other elements of your day in place that might influence your cake design, such as flowers, colours, stationery, dresses etc. Consultations are usually held via Zoom at a mutually agreeable time. As summer is such a busy time for making wedding cakes, consultations are preferred from October to March. Please note we do not offer design consultations for naked, semi-naked or buttercream cakes with fresh fruit/flower decorations.
Want to meet us in person? Face to face consultations are charged at £20. This amount is payable in advance and is non-refundable.

The countdown begins!
Once you have enjoyed your consultation with us, we will send over a summary of everything we discussed, with a total balance, and if you have already paid your booking fee, a sketch of the proposed design. If you have not yet paid your booking fee the sketch will be forwarded once this has been received. You are all booked and now the countdown begins to your big day! If you have any questions during this time you can always pop us an email, but hopefully all your questions have been answered and it’s really just a waiting game until the month before your wedding day. This is the point at which we require any remaining balance to have been paid.
What if I want to add something?
If you change your mind and want to add some favours for example, just pop us an email and we can add these to your order, please allow us notice of any changes, these must be before your final balance is due.

The week of your wedding
Not soon til your big day now! We are busy baking and preparing your cake.
During the week of your wedding we will be contacting your venue and any other suppliers where necessary to confirm our logistics. We will also provide your venue with a full list of ingredients and allergens enabling your guests to ask any allergen advice without worrying.
We hope you enjoy these last few exciting days leading up to your wedding day, and find some time to relax!

After your amazing day
It’s all over but the memories go on… Is there any cake left? If so, you can wrap it up and freeze it, get some out every so often, yum!

Secure your booking
After the initial enquiry, and once the final design is agreed, we invite you to secure your date with booking fee. For celebration cakes the amount is the lesser of £100 or 50% of total order value. This is a non refundable deposit which confirms your date and covers the necessary costs to create your order. We work on a first come first served basis and are unable hold dates without a deposit. Your final balance will be due no later than one week before the collection/delivery date, unless otherwise agreed. If you would like to 'try before you buy' our sample boxes are available for anyone who wants to try our cake before putting down a deposit and are available to order here.

What if I want to change something?
What if I want to change or add something?
If you change your mind and want to make changes to the agreed design, or add some favours for example, just pop us an email and we can make the necessary adjustments to your order. Please be aware that some changes, (and additions in particular!) may result in an increased cost. Please allow us notice of any changes, these must be before your final balance is due.

Your cake is ready!
It's time to collect your wonderful cake! We will give you instructions for travelling safely with your cake, please follow them! After all our hard work we like to know that they're going to reach their destination in the same condition they left our kitchen, and we know you want that too. Once your cake has left our premises we cannot be held responsible for any mishaps or damage arising. We will also give you instructions for storing your cake to ensure it is in the best condition ready for your event, and also for enjoying leftovers (if there are any!). If we are delivering your cake we will pass on storage instructions at that time.
